Last week, Defense Minister Margarita Robles signed a resolution in which authorizes "In general, to the public consultation" of500 boxes of documents related to the Civil War and the Franco dictatorship.

These documents, a large part of the entire documentation in possession of the General Archive of Ávila Prior to 1968, they could not be consulted until now, without obtaining a special authorization, as they were secret or reserved material.

On December 4, as reported The country, the Defense Documents Qualifying Commission approved a report in which it was recommended to the ministry and the minister release all this documentation, arguing that its public knowledge "does not affect the security and defense of the State."

The Army had assured the same thing, who prepared a previous report in which they enabled his release.
